The Beginning
Hi everyone! This is the first day of my new blog. Mostly it’s to keep myself on track with my fiction writing. But I figure if I want to really keep track of my progress with my writing career I should post THINGS THAT I HAVE LEARNED.
So, here is my plan. I will post everyday even if it’s just a wee tiny, “I don’t have time” post. Each post I will list something I have learned with regards to writing.
So I’m keeping it short today.
Here is what I am currently working on:
I’ve decided to work on a 10-20k short story. Something fun. Something that I’m not obsessing over like my 40k YA that’s been over a year in the making. I’m thinking positive, I’m thinking fun. And I’m going to bang this thing out quickly and then really work on the editing.
The Thing I’ve Learned Today (going forward: TILT): Real Life doesn’t ‘get in the way’. Writing is a part of your Real Life, just like family is a part of your life. You just need to make time for writing like you make time for your family.

Amazing a post to your blog. Good to see. Have fun posting info! –Eamonn
