So I’ve been a little lax with keeping my blog posts up to date. I’ve had my family visiting this past week and I’m having fun enjoying their company.
My mother has been playing with the kids for the last few days. Which frees me up to do things just for me. Like take an extra long shower, enjoy my supper, and breakfast… and coffee. I even went and got my hair done today.
Last night I watched a movie I had wanted to watch for the longest time. I finally got to watch it, uninterrupted. I actually was surprised to find that I gained a few epiphanies about writing from watching this particular movie.
I think that’s one thing we forget when it comes to being creative. We have to remember to live life too. Not just stare at the computer screen everyday waiting for inspiration. We have to go out and get that inspiration from our daily lives.
