I’m quoting Despicable Me.  Back to Work!  I’ve been off my writing schedule for the last 2.5 months. The holidays have a way of doing that.  Snow days too, especially with two little kids in the house.

When I am not able to focus on my writing I need to find another creative outlet.  As of late, I knit.  A lot.  I made scarves this year for Christmas gifts. Mittens and hats for the kids.  And I’ve spent the last month working on a wool sweater that I designed myself (I really hope it looks good when I’m done!) 

But soon I’ll be able to get back to working on my final revisions in a more structured way.

I wonder, what do you do with your creativity when you’re not writing?  What are some of your favorite creative outlets?
