Okay so I’m having a hard time drawing a coloration between creative writing and the rubik’s cube.  There is something magical to me about the cube and solving it.  Not magical in the sense that you have to have some hidden otherworldly talent, but magical in the sense that it CAN be solved and there is a method to how you do it.

For me that method, the method that allows anyone who follows it to create something magical, is what excites me.  Writing is like that for me.  I know you need to have some talent thrown in there too.  But you need a good brain in your head too, if you want to solve a rubik’s cube.

So there.  My analogy to writing and the rubik’s cube.  Me and my analytical brain will leave you with the following youtube video from Dan Brown (I couldn’t help but laugh at that either!)
